Christmas Catch-up

I'm recouping from a nice visit with family over the holidays. I got to play hostess, which I really enjoy, and I just hope I did a decent job. I have a ton of pics and cute videos to upload hopefully soon.

Sophia has another ear infection and is pretty miserable. Of course the infection sets off the asthma and that's were things really get fun!!!!!! Once she starts feeling better and I can breath again I'll catch up. Promise.

On our way to Orlando we saw this gorgeous rainbow. It was a complete arch, which I have never seen before, and really bright.

Santa

Noah wasn't crazy about sitting on Santa's lap this year, he felt he was too old. After thinking about it he changed his mind. Sophia had to check him out first and make sure he wasn't scary before sitting on his lap. When Santa asked what she wanted for Christmas she said, "A purple firetruck." Where did she get that from?

Sunday

We had some friends over on Sunday for brunch and had a really nice day. The kids ran around all day and had a blast while we just caught up with each other. Peter started a fire and we all had smores and hot cider. YUM-O!!!!

After everyone left we watched "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", while decorating the tree. We still have a little tweaking to do but it's up!

Our friends told us about this tree farm that we had to go check out and I'm really glad we did. There was a petting zoo, a maze, a fire pit for smores and the best kettle corn I have ever had! The kids loved it so we might have to make this a family tradition.

We are thankful for good food, good wine and most importantly good company!

Smores

Smores and playing in the leaves was one of the highlights of our trip. Peter kept the fire going and we all snacked on smores. After the little jolt from all the sugar the girls had fun jumping in the leaves.

New Little Man

We were so happy to finally meet the new little man of the family, Jack. He is absolutely adorable! He can make anyone want to pop a baby out right away!

Well 5 years later I finally respond to this. Sorry Jen! Peter is going to be so pissed that I'm posting this pic but it's the 4th pic in my 4th folder. Ellen, even though your in your jammies you look great! The kids all look so little! AWWWW! It's just too sad for me! They are all growing up way too fast!

Serious catch up....

Jen yelled at me yesterday for not updating my blog and putting up pics. Sorry Jen, no pics today but they are coming soon I promise! Let's see since last time I wrote:
-I worked all week for a promotion at our new store
-Sophia was sick
-Tried doing laundry and packing for our trip to VA
-Went to VA, had a nice trip(thank you again everyone!)
-Got back Sophia caught an infection in a not-so-nice place (my poor baby :( )
-Went back to work for another week of promotion
-Trying to catch up with laundry, unpack and get Christmas stuff out
-put up Christmas lights
-buy a tree and decorate
-catch up on Christmas shopping
-etc.
-etc.
-etc.......................................

You get the point, I do have some really cute pics of the kids I'd like to share so be on the look out!
