Baby Mia

Our good friends Widalis and Armando welcomed a beautiful baby girl to the world on Monday. Baby Mia is precious. Sophia was in awe with her and got really upset when we told her she couldn't bring Mia home with her. LOL!

Congrats Armando and Widalis!

Silly Sophie

I asked Sophia to pose for the picture and this is what she did. LOL!

Dear John

Jen passed on Dear John by Nicholas Sparks to me and I finally finished it this weekend. What can I say I'm a sucker for a good love story. There were many similarities of how the couple in the book met to how Peter and I met. They have a long distance relationship and Sept. 11th changes everything for them. It really took me back to the beginning of Peter and Elise, when we were carefree and crazy in love. Enough sappy love stuff. Has anyone else read it?

Trying to catch up

I've been horrible at blogging lately. My mind has been all over the place and I haven't found the time or energy to sit and post. Oh well. Things going on lately:

- We purchased a vehicle, Peter was riding his bike to work for about 2 weeks and we finally gave into buying a car.
- I had a much needed visit with Jen. I really felt like I hadn't seen her in about a year and was going through major withdrawals. The girls played so well together and had lots of fun.
- Getting ready for a camping trip this weekend in Ocala.
- The kids are getting over the sniffles, again. It's never ending in our house.
- Noah's enjoying basketball. He looks so tiny next to the older kids it's funny.
- Things at work have picked up some. We aren't in the clear yet but things are looking up.

I hope to post some pics soon.

Bad times...

I'm very sad to say the the economy has really hit our family business hard. We are not sure if we will make it past next month. My parents have been worried sick about what will happen not only to them and the baby that they have poured their blood, sweat and tears into for the last almost seven years but also how it is going to effect everyone else involved that have up until now made a decent living. Anyway, I won't bore you all with our sob story but if you know of anyone who needs a hearing aid PLEASE send them to us! A few sales could maybe keep our doors open. (A little prayer wouldn't hurt either)
