PTA

I'm officially PTA Treasure for Noah's school. It's funny that in talking to everyone about PTA most people didn't have many good things to say about it. I think that's really sad. I've totally jumped into this position and I will figure it out as I go. Were any of you involved in PTA? Any advise?

Teachin' A Boy to Fish

Jack Johnson woke me up at 5:50am. I woke Noah at 6:00. We dressed quickly, and skipped the gruesome routine of brushing our teeth and combing our hair.

6:15; bagels, coffee, and chocolate milk from Dunkin donuts.

6:30; OFF, a bucket, and worms from Wally World.

6:45; Slayed crappie and bluegills at a secret location in central Debary.

8:00; Noah narrowly escapes the unforgiving jaws of Florida's largest gator.

Today was Sophie's last day of school. I can't believe the year is over, it truly flew by. I felt so vaclempt when we got to school this morning, not only because the year is over and Sophia had an amazing teacher and made lots of new friends but also because she's grown so much this year. She has loved school from the beginning always asking me, "mommy do I go to school today?" She's improved so much in expressing herself and not freaking out over everything. You can actually reason with her now which is nice. We got rid of the binky successfully. Naps are a thing of the past but nothing lasts forever. I can officially say the Sophia is potty trained!!!!! She's even doing well at night, no more pull-ups!!!! I'm sure there will still be tantrums, and accidents but nothing out of the ordinary for an almost 3 year old. My little baby girl who came into this world as a little peanut (literally) is growing into such a little lady. (sniff, sniff)

Buzz cuts

Noah has been begging for a mohawk forever so we finally came to a compromise. We cut it short so he could spike it up when we allow it. He was stoked to come home with his mohawk and show it off to everyone. While we were there I figured Sophia needed a cut to even out some of her hair. She ended up with a bob which I think is so classic and cute on a little girl. We're ready for summer!

I really missed these guys this week. It just made me appreciate my work situation knowing that I get to spend so much time with them on a regular basis.

These were from last Sat. We had a really simple day at home which is one of our favorite things to do.

We Ran Away

Here are just a few pics of where we stayed in South Beach. We had a great time and of course the beach was the highlight of our trip. We spent 8 hours lounging in our chairs under the umbrella drinking Corona's and just talking. After 7 years it's nice to know that we are still best friends.
